We’re at a landmark stage in Bhagawan Bala-Krishna’s divine incarnation, wherein He has ticked one of the most important boxes in His agenda – He had to kill Kamsa, who was wreaking havoc with all his adharmic practices, which was leading to the downfall of “Dharma” eventually. Bhagawan Krishna had to restore the “Dharma” back in this world and the only way to do it is to kill those who practiced “Adharma”. Bhagawan Krishna was very particular in this, right from the start till the end. Whoever comes in front of Him with a lot of “Adharma ” in him / her, Bhagawan’s only job is to kill them and destroy the “Adharma ” then and there! Bhagawan Krishna practised this right from the second day of His divine incarnation, wherein we’ve seen Him killing “Poothana”, who came to Mother Yashoda’s place with the sole agenda of poisoning Bhagawan Bala-Krishna. Right from Poothana to Kesi, all the Raakshasas who came to Gokula to kill Bhagawan Bala-Krishna, were killed by Him. There was none left. This culminated now with the demise of Kamsa and in yesterday’s episode, we had witnessed how Bhagawan Bala-Krishna neutralized Kamsa, despite the fact that he wasn’t ready to give up so easily. Bhagawan Bala-Krishna took Kamsa head-on and at the end of a huge fight, Bhagawan Bala-Krishna finally overcame him. This marks one important landmark in Bhagawan Bala-Krishna’s divine incarnation.
With this, Bhagawan Bala-Krishna along with Balarama have other important duties associated with Kamsa’s demise. His first agenda now is to free His parents, Devaki and Vasudeva, who are languishing in the Mathura City jail – Thanks to Kamsa’s atrocities. The two children immediately left the palace and reached the jail complex where their parents were lodged. Upon seeing their children coming towards them, Devaki and Vasudeva are overwhelmed beyond words. Tears roll down Devaki’s eyes and Vasudeva is in all bliss, as they receive their son after ten long years! The long wait has finally come to an end for a desperate couple to see their child. Till that point, Vasudeva and Devaki did not even know that their eighth son was alive. We should remember that these are the parents who had given seven of their children to Kamsa’s treacherous hands, only to be killed by him mercilessly in front of their two eyes! As parents, Devaki and Vasudeva had gone through a lot in their married life, and Bhagawan Bala-Krishna knows this very well – The amount of sacrifice that the parents have made has been huge in this case.
Thus, as Bhagawan Bala-Krishna and Balarama reach the cell in which they were lodged, the first thing that they did is to fall on their parents’ feet, seeking their blessings. We should remember here – A “Paramatma” falling on the feet of a “Jeevatma” to seek blessings! We can see how fortunate the couple were, isn’t it? All the trials and tribulations that they had to go through in their lives, have been duly rewarded with this golden moment! Thus with this, Bhagawan Krishna frees both His parents from the iron clutches to which they were tied. THus, Devaki and Vasudeva had been freed after so many years! They are in tears of joy and aren’t getting words to express their happiness and gratitude to their son.
So for today, let us join hands with Devaki and Vasudeva to worship Bhagawan Bala-Krishna in this divine form and moment. Now we’re going to enter into a very interesting phase – Devaki is all upset because she hasn’t been able to witness her son’s childhood days. It was Mother Yashoda who was fortunate to witness Bhagawan Bala-Krishna as a baby and till He was ten years old. Thus, Devaki has this desire that she wanted to witness Bhagawan Bala-Krishna’s childhood days somehow! She wants a recap of Bhagawan’s divine incarnation, right from day one till that present day. Accordingly she expresses her wish to Bhagawan. Now how is Bhagawan Bala-Krishna going to fulfill His mother’s wish? An interesting accord awaits us tomorrow! Stay tuned! 🙂
